    Timberchic Coastal White Wall Planks

Last year I was visiting a friend at her home for the first time and so of course, I asked for a tour. She had decorated in coastal style which is one of my absolute favorites so every detail pulled me in. The aquas, grays and whites were perfection! When we made our way to the lower level the style changed to warm barn wood walls and archways. She told me how they had scouted an old barn that needed to be torn down and asked the owners if they could have the wood if they tore the structure down for them. The owners agreed and they worked for weeks tearing down the barn, hauling the wood and pulling nails in order to install the old wood on the walls of their lower level. It was so unique because I was used to seeing white shiplap ever since Fixer Upper made it America's latest obsession, but this was a mix of warm shades and tones that I really liked.

I always loved the look of wood walls but thought it must be a ton of work and although I enjoy decorating and DIY crafts, I'm not that handy with a hammer and nails so I thought a wood wall would never happen for me, until...I found Timberchic.
